Business results in the construction industry are not random events. Each day we execute on the fundamentals of service and sales, and if we do those actions “to plan”, the results at the end of the year are never a surprise (well, maybe to the “upside”, but never to the downside!). Yet budgeting and planning are often the most overlooked processes in the contracting industry because most business owners are not as strong with the “numbers” because they were tradesmen first, business owners second. This webinar will explain and illustrate the fundamentals of “bottom-up” budgeting to achieve desired profitability. Because there are many ways to achieve a desired “bottom-line”, our discussion will be beneficial for the small AND large contractor. We will also discuss 3-year strategic planning in conjunction with annual budgeting (tactical planning).
