Who is EGIA?

EGIA is a contractor training and professional development trade association which specializes in helping home improvement contractors boost their bottom line while increasing sales volume and profits. Our partnership with Daikin allows contractors to participate in our financing clearinghouse. As a Daikin dealer, we work with you to find and secure the best financing solutions for you to offer your customers.

How do I sign up for the Installment+ Loan Program?

Fill out the Installment+ enrollment application and Email it to daikin@egia.org or fax it to 800-506-9073.

Am I eligible for this program?

This program requires around two years in business and satisfactory credit on the business and principal(s) as well as active licensing, current insurance coverage, and a clean BBB rating.

Why am I subject to credit approval?

All lenders require financial information to make sure the dealer applying to offer the financing is solid and will be able to service their own installations for warranty work. Lending organizations are "holder in due course", meaning that they are required by law to cover any warranty work for a financed installation if the dealer goes out of business.

What is the enrollment process?

  • Complete the enrollment application and submit it to EGIA
  • Upon approval, you will receive a welcome email with a link to complete your enrollment
  • Complete enrollment by entering the information and running a test transaction
  • Now you are ready to submit loan applications

Why do I have to pay dealer fees?

This allows you to offer the best possible financing solutions for your business and customers. Dealer fees are to set to ensure that a greater amount of customers will be approved in order to sell the job with the interest rate and terms your customers need. When using programs without dealer promotions, you are more apt to lose jobs due to higher customer credit constraints.

How do I get paid?

Funding is processed through your credit card processing software. Upon credit approval, your customer will be provided with a 16 digit account code, CVV code, and expiration date. You would process this as if it were a standard MasterCard. Check your contract to find out your hand key rates.

What is the benefit to funding through a credit card?

  • Saves time: No longer will the you need to revisit the homeowner for forgotten signatures on completion docs
  • Install Next Day: Homeowners accept the terms and conditions verbally or by email. You don’t have to wait on loan docs to be signed
  • Get paid faster: Funding isn’t held up with the bank needing homeowner verification that the job is complete

  • U.S. Homeowner must purchase equipment and execute a consumer financing contract with an EGIA lender between September 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.
  • Daikin Comfort Pro must install between September 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.
  • All consumer financing contracts must be funded by EGIA by January 15, 2017.
  • All consumer financing buy down claims must be submitted to EGIA by January 31, 2017.

  • Consumer financing buy down is fulfilled by a 3% rate rebate to the Daikin Comfort Pro for both installment loans and revolving account loans (Wells Fargo) and is not limited to specific plan numbers or lender. Example below:
  • Example Amount Financed: $12,500
  • Standard Dealer Discount Rate: 7.25% = $906.25 discount rate amount paid by dealer
  • Daikin Discount Rate participation rebated to dealer: 3.0% = $375
  • Net Promotional Dealer Discount Rate: 4.25% or $531.25 net amount paid by dealer
  • Financing offers apply only to Daikin qualifying equipment ** financed under the EGIA program.
Consumer Financing Details:
  • Daikin Summer 2016 Consumer Financing Plan(s) are available in the U.S. through EGIA only.
  • Daikin Comfort Pros with a signed dealer agreement must be approved and in good standing with EGIA prior to offering Daikin Financing Offers to Homeowners.
  • All EGIA plans are subject to applicable origination fees and credit card processing fees.
  • Homeowners are subject to credit approval by EGIA or their approved lenders.
  • Finance contracts are subject to a $15,000 maximum retail sale amount.
  • Sales amount used to calculate financing buy down rebate excludes taxes.
EGIA Rebate Claims Process
  • Daikin Comfort Pro is "funded" by EGIA for each qualifying job, less appropriate EGIA discount cost plus any applicable credit card processing fee.
  • Daikin Comfort Pro is responsible for submitting the 3% consumer financing rebate claim and all supporting paperwork to EGIA.
  • Consumer Finance rebate claims will be entered online at www.egia.org/daikin by the Daikin Comfort Pro. EGIA or Daikin are not responsible for lost/missing paper work.
  • All jobs submitted under the Daikin Fall 2016 program must be funded by January 15, 2017 and financing buy down claims submitted by January 31, 2017.

Daikin Fall 2016 Consumer Program Extension – INSTANT REBATE*

Eligible Participants (Daikin Comfort Pros/Homeowners) and Timing: This program is eligible for participating independent Daikin Comfort Pros in the U.S. ONLY with a signed dealer agreement.
  • U.S. Homeowner must purchase equipment between September 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.
  • Daikin Comfort Pro must install between September 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.
  • All consumer rebate claims must be submitted by January 15, 2017.
Qualifying Daikin Equipment***
  • To qualify for the Daikin Fall 2016 Instant Rebate, Homeowner purchase invoice must include:
  • A DX20VC, DZ20VC, DX18TC, DZ18TC, DZ18VC, DX16TC, DZ16TC, DX16SA, DZ16SA OR
  • A DM97MC, DC97MC, DM96MC, DC96MC Modulating Furnace OR

Daikin Comfort Pro Responsibilities for Consumer Instant Rebate
  • Daikin Comfort Pro is responsible for 50% of each consumer instant rebate amount, but dealer will need to provide the full rebate to the homeowner at time of purchase. Daikin Comfort Pro will claim back 50% of the total rebate from Daikin post sale.
  • E.g.: If a homeowner instant rebate is $1,200, Daikin Comfort Pro will receive a rebate from Daikin (via EGIA) for $600.
  • Daikin agrees to reimburse the Daikin Comfort Pro, via payment from EGIA, for any claim that EGIA determines to be valid.
  • Daikin Comfort Pro may not apply any Daikin marketing accrual funds for repayment of consumer rebates.
  • Daikin Comfort Pros should not increase their invoice price by the price of the consumer instant rebate and all invoices should clearly denote the instant rebate provided.
Claims process
  • Dealer will file the rebate claim with EGIA, including all necessary documentation, at www.egia.org/daikin. Program portal will be available September 1, 2016.
  • All claims must be submitted online by the dealer with appropriate back-up documentation.
  • Rebate claims must be submitted before January 15, 2017 at the latest.
  • EGIA can be contacted via phone at 888-691-0387 or via email at dealerrebates@egia.org with questions regarding claim submission or status on Daikin Consumer Instant Rebates.
  • Daikin Comfort Pro must provide EGIA with ONE of the following for the online claim:
  • A copy of their invoice including:
  • Invoice number
  • Serial and model numbers for all equipment purchased
  • Homeowner name and address
  • Date of installation
  • Rebate given to homeowner
  • Daikin Comfort Pro name and dealer number (local distributor number)
  • A copy of the Daikin product registration confirmation
  • If homeowner invoice does not include equipment serial numbers, Daikin Comfort Pro must provide a copy of warranty registration number with serial numbers.
  • Allow 4-6 weeks for rebate processing and receipt of rebate check.
