Below is a brief summary of some of EGIA’s project and program management experience related to Rebate Administration, Retailer and Contractor Services & Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Financing. |

 | High Efficiency HVAC Interest Rate Buy-Down Program EGIA administered one of the largest incentive-based consumer finance programs in the country. This $5.4 million program, funded by the California Public Utilities Commission, provides for an interest rate buy-down to reduce the cost of financing high efficiency HVAC measures installed in PG&E, SCE and Southern California Gas Company territories. |
 | Maine Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Financing Program Maine HPwES is sponsored by the Governors Energy Office and Maine Public Utilities Commission, Efficiency Maine Program. EGIA administers the Home Performance financing program, which is delivered through a network of contractors certified by the Building Performance Institute. EGIA was selected as the preferred provider of unsecured financing to deliver a source of low interest funding to offset the higher investment cost associated with implementing comprehensive energy efficiency. |
 | Arizona Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Financing Program The Arizona Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program is sponsored by the Arizona Foundation For Senior Living and is being implemented statewide in conjunction with participating utilities, the Building Performance Institute and EGIA. EGIA delivers HPwES financing, providing a source of low interest funding. As part of this program, EGIA also provides contractor training on how to sell energy efficient home improvement and integrate financing into the contractor sales process. |
 | Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Financing Program Maryland HPwES is sponsored by the Maryland Energy Administration in conjunction with the EPA to promote comprehensive whole house energy efficiency. EGIA administers program financing leveraging its national GEOSmart energy efficiency and renewable energy loan program. In order to participate in the financing program, all contractors must successfully complete a screening process and are designated as an "EGIA Approved Contractor". |
 | Solar Santa Monica Resource Efficiency Financing Solar Santa Monica represents a new, ambitious community program that aims to make the City of Santa Monica energy self-sustaining by 2020. The program is upgrading a cross section of Santa Monica residential and business sites with energy efficiency measures and solar electric (photovoltaic) or solar thermal (hot water) systems. EGIA has been selected as a preferred financing partner and is leveraging its GEOSmart solar and energy efficiency financing program to fund resource efficient home improvements, city wide. |
 | Wyoming GEOSmart Energy Efficiency Financing and Contractor Referral Program The Wyoming Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program is sponsored by the Wyoming Energy Council (WEC). WEC selected EGIA’s GEOSmart loan program as the exclusive source for HPwES financing. Additionally, WEC with support from the Wyoming Business Council recently formed the Wyoming Home Performance Alliance with founding members Black Hills Power, Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power, SourceGas and the Wyoming Rural Electric Association. The GEOSmart loan program is promoted by the Alliance to homeowners throughout the state through an online/ automated contractor referral program designed and administered by EGIA. |
 | Statewide Appliance Week Campaign EGIA supported the Flex Your Power team in the development of the strategy and marketing materials to reach out to appliance retailers throughout California. EGIA coordinated all retailer activities and distributed marketing materials and program participation instructions to over 1000 independent and national appliance retailers throughout the state. |

 | Southwest Gas High-Efficiency Natural Gas Rebate Program EGIA administers rebate processing for the Southwest Gas Residential & High-Efficiency Natural Gas Water Heater and Commercial Food Services and Water Heating Rebate Programs. |
 | TXU Energy Authorized Dealer Association The TXU Energy Authorized Dealer Network has selected the Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA) as a preferred provider of energy efficient home improvement financing for Dealer Network members. The Dealer Network is comprised of leading HVAC, windows and insulation contractors approved to participate in the utility sponsored energy efficiency programs. |
 | Residential Contractor Program (RCP) EGIA provided contractor screening, performed contractor orientation training, conducted on-going verification of contractor eligibility, disseminated program information to participating contractors via phone, fax and mail, handled all contractor and consumer calls, fulfilled consumer requests for contractor information, and performed all utility reporting. EGIA managed a network of 387 contractors in both the single and multi-family elements of the program. | | | Efficient Refrigerator Rebate Program This rebate program provided incentives to residential customers to purchase energy efficient refrigerators. EGIA was responsible for all aspects of rebate processing and issued up to 50,000 rebate checks annually. | | | Efficient Multiple-Dwelling Refrigerator Rebate Program EGIA processed up to 15,000 refrigerator rebate applications annually from multi-family property managers replacing tenant unit refrigerators with high efficiency models. | | | Efficient Refrigerator Dealer/Salesperson Incentive Program EGIA administered this Dealer/Salesperson Incentive program that provided a direct cash incentive to appliance sales people for up-selling customers to more energy efficient models. The appliance dealer (typically the storeowner) was also provided with an incentive for stocking the more efficient refrigerators. EGIA provided in-store training and education and processed and dispersed all incentive awards. | | | ENERGY STAR® Program EGIA coordinated all field service related activities associated with ENERGY STAR® in the PG&E service territory. This included distribution of point of purchase materials to over 600 appliance dealers and home improvement contractors. EGIA also provided in-store sales training for sales associates on the benefits of ENERGY STAR® qualifying appliances. | | | Home Energy Savings Loan Program EGIA developed and implemented a screening process as a quality control measure to reduce utility liability exposure. Additionally, EGIA received and resolved residential consumers complaints involving program contractors. This program produced approximately $100,000,000 in loans. EGIA screened up to 425 contractors for participation in this program. |
 | California Residential Lighting & Appliance Program (CRLAP) EGIA administered this statewide residential appliance market transformation program in the Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas, San Diego Gas & Electric and Pacific Gas & Electric Company service territories in conjunction with Richard Heath and Associates, Inc. (RHA). EGIA recruited appliance dealers across California for participation in the program and managed field services, incentive rebate processing and program database management and reporting. |
 | Southern California Edison A/C Quality Finance Program EGIA has partnered with A/C Quality to bring customers of Southern California Edison an easy and affordable way to finance their high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment. This financing program is delivered through a network of screened and approved contractors. |
 | Southern California Edison Home Performance With EnergyStar Financing Program EGIA has partnered with the California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA) to provide Southern California Edison customers with a comprehensive financing solution to fund the installation of qualified whole house, home performance measures. |
 | San Diego Gas & Electric Premium Efficiency Financing Program EGIA has partnered with Premium Efficiency to bring customers of San Diego Gas & Electric affordable financing to fund the installation of quality installed high efficiency HVAC equipment. |
 | Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program EGIA administers rebate processing for the Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings program. The Chicagoland program provides energy efficiency rebates to customers served by Peoples Gas and North Shore Natural Gas for measures such as high efficiency furnaces, water heating and insulation. |
 | Arizona Public Services Residential Renewable Energy Program EGIA administered the residential renewable energy financing program for Arizona Public Services (APS). APS offered customers a choice between cash back rebates or 7.99% low interest financing for solar PV, solar thermal and residential wind generation projects. |
 | SourceGas Atmos Energy Corporation Colorado Natural Gas Efficient Natural Gas Rebate Program EGIA administers rebate processing for the Colorado Demand Side Management Efficient Natural Gas Rebate Program sponsored by SourceGas, Atmos Energy Corporation and Colorado Natural Gas. |
 | Oncor Home Performance With Energy Star Financing EGIA was selected as a 3rd party provider to offer its GEOSmart Loan Program to customers participating in the Oncor Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. Homeowners are offered a choice between the standard cash back incentives (rebates) provided through the Oncor HPwES program or discounted 7.99% APR financing. |
 | United Illuminating Home Energy Solutions Residential Energy Efficiency Loan Program EGIA has been selected by United Illuminating to provide customers participating in the United Illuminating Home Energy Solutions (HES) Program with a GEOSmart Loan. Eligible HES home energy improvements include: HVAC, appliances, high efficiency water heaters and boilers, and insulation. |
